EDWARD CAHILL
Hamilton Field Pilot Second Lieutenant EDWARD CAHILL met instant death early Friday evening, when his P-38 crashed on the flats near Hamilton Field and burst into flames.
On a routine flight, Lieutenant CAHILL took off from the field and developed motor trouble almost at once.
A native of New Jersey, CAHILL had been at Hamilton Field for only a short time. He was commissioned April 30, 1940, at a Texas field. The only survivor is his mother, Mrs. MARY CAHILL, of Newark.
