ELINOR D. HUBBARD

A memorial service for Elinor D. Hubbard, a longtime Mill Valley resident, will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in Mill Valley.

Mrs. Hubbard died Sunday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 64.

She was born in Dixon, Ill., and lived in Iowa before moving to Mill Valley 24 years ago. Prior to her illness, she was a nurse’s aide at the Marin Convalescent and Rehabilitation Hospital in Tiburon.

Mrs. Hubbard had been an active member of the Marin Audubon Society, the Native Plant Society and the De Young Museum Society.

Her husband, Dudley S. Hubbard, died in 1975. He had been president of the Marin Audubon Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary H. Bogert of Newport, R.I.; a son, Thomas D. Hubbard of Hoquiam, Wash.; three sisters, Dorothy D. Tyler and Alice Friedrichs of Illinois, and Genevieve Eno of Indiana; and a brother, Orville W. Dodd Jr. of Illinois.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marin or the Dudley S. Hubbard Educational Center, Audubon Canyon Ranch, Bolinas.
