Second Stroke Proves Fatal to Attorney Talbott

About a year and a half ago Edward J. Talbott was stricken by paralysis from which he did not rally. A second stroke last week hastened his death which occurred Tuesday.

Mr. Talbott lived at Fifth and F streets, San Rafael, with his wife, the former Miss Knittel, for the past 15 years. A member of the Bar, he commuted to San Francisco where his law office was located.

His death is sincerely mourned by many friends and his neighbors in the West End, who are saddened by the passing of a quiet unassuming and kindly personality.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Quillan, a step-daughter, Margaret Dimond and step-son, Henry Talbott, and Dr. William Talbott, a brother.

Mr. Talbott was a member of San Mateo Lodge F. & A. M. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Halsted Mortuary, 1123 Sutter street, in San Francisco.
