JAMES A. STUBER
A funeral for James A. Stuber of Mill Valley, a retired salesman, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Mr. Stuber, 69, died Wednesday at Marin General Hospital. He had been in intensive care since Monday, when he suffered head injuries in an eight-foot fall from a ladder at his home.
Mr. Stuber, a native of Kansas, had lived in Mill Valley since 1949. He retired in January, 1984 after working as a salesman for 28 years in the automotive field.
He is survived by his wife, Leah Mae Stuber of Mill Valley; three sons, Jim A. Stuber of San Diego, Phil Stuber of Mill Valley and Ken Stuber of Eureka; two daughters, Judy Wade of Virginia and Karen Ortiz of Tiburon; and 12 grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. today. The family prefers donations to a favorite charity.
