BERNICE CAMP CAPES
The funeral for Bernice Camp Capes, a former Mill Valley resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Wiggins Funeral Home in Vallejo.
Mrs. Capes, 83, died Saturday at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo after a lengthy illness.
She lived in Mill Valley from 1941 through 1970. She was a member of the Mill Valley American Legion.
She is survived by two daughters, Emily Williams of Mill Valley and Mildred Tillery of Amarillo, Texas; a son, James Camp of Tomales; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
The family prefers memorial donations to a favorite charity.
