Frank Farrell, Ross Resident, Summoned

Frank X. Farrell, 80, of Ross, who came to California 68 years ago, was laid to rest Monday after funeral services from the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel, to St. Anselm’s Church, San Anselmo. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. He died Thursday from a heart attack.

Farrell had been a retired member of the San Francisco police department and had also served as constable in Ross where he had resided for nearly half a century. He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Surviving the aged man are five daughter, Mrs. Louis Sovey of San Rafael, Mrs. Edwin Hall of Ross, Mrs. Edward Fenney of Ross and Nellie and Josephine Farrell of Ross; and five grandchildren, Mrs. Walter McCarthy Jr., Miss Mary Fenney, and Betty, Edwin and Francis Hall.
