Found Dead At San Antonio Station

Edward Mildner died of apoplexy on Friday, April 10th, in San Antonio station, this county in the 50th year of his age.

The deceased was a native of Germany, and has been in this country twenty-nine years. Five weeks ago he went from Tiburon to be caretaker of an ark belonging to W. P. Kittle.

The flag station at San Antonio is a popular resort for homeless wanderers, who are often seen lying about the floor. Mildner was supposed to be asleep until found by Thomas Bowman about twenty-four hours after he was dead.

Dr. Sawyer was summoned, and held a coroner’s inquest, and took charge of the remains.

A stepson, C. C. Kremler, from Belvedere, identified the body, and arranged for the burial, which took place in St. Mary’s cemetery, Oakland on Monday, April 14th.
