Death Of Capt. McCreagh
Capt. Thos. J. McCreagh died at San Anselmo Saturday morning, April 19th. He was the husband of Ellen A. McCreagh, and a brother of John E. and Minnie McCreagh, and of the late Ida Dillon, and of the late James McCreagh.
He was a member of San Rafael Lodge No. 1108, B. P. O. E., of the National Union, S. F. Council No. 540. He was an employee in the U. S. Custom service and was captain in the Philippines during the Spanish war; he lost his health in the islands, and has been a semi-invalid since his return to America.
After a brief service by Father Egan, the funeral was conducted by the Elks. The interment took place on Tuesday in the National cemetery at the Presidio, with full military honors.
Captain McCreagh was 51 years of age.
