CARA VENGHIATTIS
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Olema Cemetery for Cara Venghiattis, a 10-year-old Inverness resident.
Cara died Tuesday at her home after a six-year battle against leukemia.
She was born in a Petaluma hospital and had lived in Inverness all her life with her family.
Cara was a student at the Marin Waldorf School in San Rafael.
She was the daughter of Michel Venghiattis and Susanne Storch, owners of Michel’s Famous Quiche business in San Rafael.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a 7-year-old brother, Antoine.
The family has asked that memorial gifts be sent to the Leukemia Society of America, Northern California Chapter, 323 Geary St., San Francisco, or the Marin Waldorf School, 755 Idylberry Road, San Rafael, 94903.
