VERDA M. GARVEN
A memorial service for Verda M. Garven of Cotati will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Mrs. Garven, 81, died Thursday at Marin General Hospital.
She was born in Kansas and came to California at the beginning of World War II. She lived in St. Helena for 27 years before moving to Cotati about two years ago.
She enjoyed gardening. She also like taking long walks every day.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Virginia Friedman of Kentfield; a sister, Theresa Angelacos of Omaha, Neb.; and two granddaughters.
