ROBERT C. MATLOCK
Robert C. Matlock, a longtime Marin resident, died today at his San Rafael home after a long illness. He was 65.
Mr. Matlock moved to San Rafael nine years ago after living in Novato and Mill Valley.
He was operations manager and vice president of the Golden State Building Maintenance Co. in San Francisco.
Mr. Matlock was a Marine Corps veteran who served in World War II.
He had also been an avid tennis player.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marie Helene Matlock of San Rafael; three sons, Michael Matlock of Vallejo, Daniel Matlock of Santa Rosa and Robert Matlock of San Francisco; a daughter, Susan Matlock of Santa Rosa; a brother, Harold Matlock of San Mateo; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be private.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903.
