JOHN H. McLEAN
A memorial service for John H. McLean of Santa Rosa, a former San Rafael resident, will be at noon Sunday at the Portalhurst Presbyterian Church in San Francisco.
He died last Thursday at his home after a short illness. He was 83. Mr. McLean, a native of Scotland, had lived in Santa Rosa for a year. Earlier, he was a resident of San Rafael for several years.
Mr. McLean worked 25 years as a civil engineer before retiring. He was a member of the Portalhurst Presbyterian Church of San Francisco and the San Francisco City/County Retired Employees Association.
He is survived by his wife, Emily McLean of Santa Rosa; two daughters, Joan Bamford of Santa Rosa and Isabelle Dobyns of San Rafael; and four grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions to Portalhurst Presbyterian Church or Home Hospice of Sonoma County, 1811 4th St., Santa Rosa, 95404.
