PETER CARLSEN
A memorial service for Peter Carlsen of San Rafael will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Aldersly Danish Retirement Home in San Rafael. Mr. Carlsen died Saturday at the retirement home at the age of 81.
Mr. Carlsen was born in Denmark and immigrated to Salinas in 1928. He lived there until a year and a half ago, when he moved to San Rafael.
He was a retired property manager.
Survivors are his wife, Anne Marie Carlsen of San Rafael; a daughter, Mary Ann Sorensen of San Mateo; and two grandchildren.
Private inurnment will be at Skyline Memorial Park in San Mateo.
The family prefers contributions to a favorite charity.
