LEONA BLEDSOE
A memorial service for Leona Bledsoe, 78, of San Rafael, will be held at 11 a.m. June 28 at the Russell and Gooch mortuary in Mill Valley,
Mrs. Bledsoe died last Tuesday at the Hillhaven Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael.
She was born in New York, She moved to Sausalito at the age of 16 and lived there for more than 35 years. She also lived in Santa Rosa. She moved to San Rafael three years ago.
Mrs. Bledsoe worked for Pacific Telephone in Sausalito.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Pederson of Sausalito and Eleanor Donahue of Santa Rosa; two sons, Donald Elk of Santa Rosa and John Elk of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
