DELBERT C. BUCKWALTER

Delbert C. Buckwalter, a resident for many years of Petaluma and Novato, died Friday at the Beverly Manor convalescent hospital in Petaluma after a brief illness.

Mr. Buckwalter, 77, was born in Bellfontaine, Ohio, and came to Novato in 1948. He lived there until 1970, when he moved to Petaluma.

Before retiring, he worked for many years as a carpenter in Marin County.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a charter member of Masonic Lodge 751 of Novato.

Surviving him are four sons, Robert O. Buckwalter of Novato, Richard D. Buckwalter of Claremont, Los Angeles County, Ralph K. Buckwalter of Foster City and Ronald J. Buckwalter of Novato; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

No service is planned.

The family has asked that memorial contributions go to the American Lung Association of the Redwood Empire, Emphysema Division, Box 1482, Santa Rosa, 95402.
