WALTER F. NEILL

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Vaca Hills Chapel in Vacaville for Walter F. Neill, former longtime Marin resident and banker.

Mr. Neill, who was 85, died unexpectedly last Wednesday at his summer home in Prattville, Plumas County.

He had lived in Kentfield for many yeas and later in Greenbrae. He moved to Vacaville about 10 years ago.

Mr. Neill was born and grew up in Napa. He was an officer with Wells Fargo Bank for 45 years before retiring in 1965.

His wife, Ruth, died in 1983.

Mr. Neill is survived by his son, Clifford Neill of Chico, and one grandchild.

Burial will be in the Prattville Cemetery in Plumas County.
