LESTER B. FARLEY
LESTER B. FARLEY, a prominent Native Son of Nicasio, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in San Francisco on Monday night. He was taken sick with stomach trouble several months ago, and his ailment became so bad that he was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was operated upon for an abcess of the stomach. He rallied for awhile after the operation, but in the past week, he had a relapse and passed away at midnight on Monday. He was a native of Nicasio, aged 30 years.
The deceased was the husband of ELLA M. FARLEY, and father of MURIEL FARLEY, and brother of WILLIAM MAYLEN G. FARLEY, BESSIE C. FARLEY, MAY A. FARLEY, TILMAN FARLEY Jr., G.F. FARLEY, and Mrs. THOMAS IRVING. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. FARLEY, old and respected pioneers of Nicasio.
The funeral will be held Thursday, January 1st, at 11 a.m. from Sawyer's undertaking parlors. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
