FRANK HUDSON

Killed by the Electric Train

FRANK HUDSON, a cook by occupation and a member of the Cooks and Waiters Union of San Francisco, was run down and killed by an electric train near Manzanita Station, just this side of Sausalito, about 9 o'clock last Thursday night.

Motorman RITCHIE found the badly mangled remains of the man lying between the tracks a few minutes later. The clothing was torn from the body which was frightfully crushed and bruised. Death must have been instantaneous.

No witnesses to the tragedy have been found, so it is impossible to ascertain just how the accident occurred, but it is supposed that the man was struck by the train preceeding the one on which Motorman RITCHIE was running.

The man is known to have a brother FRED HUDSON, living at McCloud, Siskiyou County.
