FRANK RODGERS Passes Away
Was an Old Resident and One Time Supervisor of Marin County

One of Marin County's oldest pioneers passed away last Monday night when FRANK RODGERS of Nicasio died after an illness of a few weeks at his home in that place. Mr. Rodgers took sick a few weeks ago, and in spite of his 82 years, it was thought that he would be well within a few days. But on Monday night he grew worse and in a short time passed away.

Mr. Rodgers leaves a wife, Mrs. Frank Rodgers, and 4 children, Mrs. Lillian A. FITZGERALD, Frank E. RODGERS, William A. RODGERS, and Clara BELL. He was the father of the late Nettie WAKE.

Frank Rodgers came to California 55 years ago from his home in Vermont. He has been in this county 43 years. Over 50 years ago, he married Mary BYRNE in San Francisco. From 1879-80 he served as a supervisor in the Nicasio District. During his term the poor farm was established.

The funeral of Mr. Rodgers will be held today (Thursday) from St. Raphael's Church, interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
