James Mahar, who has been employed in Marin county for the last forty years, mostly on the Healion and Gallagher ranches, died at Pt. Reyes Station, September 8th, after a short illness. As a boy he was an inmate of St. Vincent’s orphanage. The burial will take place at Mount Olivet today. He was over 60 years of age.
