Miss Ann M. Smart, aged 82 years, 11 months and 1 day, died at 725 Fifth street in this city after having lived here for one month. She was a native of Scotland and was a distant relative of Mrs. A. M. Newhall, and had been a resident of California for 48 years. The remains were shipped to San Francisco for interment.
