Death of Mrs. Praetzel

Maria C. Praetzel, formerly Miss Nee Cochrane, of San Rafael, died at her home in San Francisco about four o’clock Thursday, April 30th.

At seven forty-five Monday morning, the remains were taken from the late home of the deceased at 535 Clayton street, San Francisco and conducted by way of the Sausalito ferry to San Rafael. An automobile was the means of conveyance from thence to St. Raphael’s church where a high mass was said for the rest of her soul, at nine thirty o’clock.

An automobile procession escorted the deceased to Mt. Olivet cemetery where the burial took place.

Mrs. Praetzel is survived by her husband Conrad Praetzel, and six children, Helen, Hilmar, James, Conrad, Geraldine, Desmond and Douglas Praetzel.
