Death of F. Cediey
Death has called another of San Rafael’s business men. F. Cediey, the tailor, dyeing and cleaning man, died at his home in this city on Wednesday, October 1st. Some three or four weeks ago he was taken to the French Hospital in the city and operated on for appendicitis, but is was discovered that that was not the trouble. It seemed to be more in the nature of a cancer. After being treated for some time he was brought back to his home about a week ago.
Mr. Cediey was 56 years of age, a native of France, had been a resident of San Rafael for 7 years. Cancer of the intestines is given as the cause of death. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Victorine McGuire of Oakland.
The funeral services will be held at the Masonic Lodge on Sunday afternoon, with interment at Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
