Death of Chas. Burns
Charles E. Burns, a well known resident of this city, passed away Tuesday evening at Hund’s Sanitarium from an abscess on the brain. The deceased was a native of Birmingham, England, and was 44 years of age. For the past year Mr. Burns had been conducting a florist store on Fourth street. He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Theobe (sic) Burns, and two sons, Frank and Archie Burns.
The deceased was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Madera, and the funeral will be held under the auspices of Marin Lodge, No. 191, today (Thursday) at nine o’clock from the lodge rooms.
