Killed on Railroad

Early Monday morning J. N. Wilcox, a brakeman on the Northwestern railroad was accidentally killed near the B street depot. It seems that he jumped from his own train in front of another train which was going in another direction. He was struck by the train and instantly killed.

He had been in the employ of the road only a few days. It is quite evident that he was not as careful as he should have been.
