BRUCE F. LAUGHLIN

Funeral was to be today for Bruce F. Laughlin who ran the Marshall General Store for 27 years.

Laughlin died Friday in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness. He was 72.

He was born in Harbor Beach, Mich. He came to Marin 43 years ago and settled in Marshall.

Laughlin lived in Marshall and ran the store with his wife of 40 years, May Laughlin, until he retired earlier this year.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jackie Newsom of Novato; two grandchildren and brothers and sisters in Michigan.

Inurnment was to be at Bahia Valley Memorial Park in Novato.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
