THOMAS BRANNIGAN
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas Brannigan of San Rafael will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael’s Church in San Rafael. Mr. Brannigan, 71, died Thursday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a brief illness.
He was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin 40 years ago. He lived in San Anselmo for a few years before moving to San Rafael.
He graduated from St. James High School in San Francisco.
Mr. Brannigan served in the Army during World War II.
He was a retired sales representative for Frank Enea Berkeley Farms’ ice cream division. He had worked for the company for 20 years.
He was a member of the San Anselmo Tennis Club and played regularly. He was also a member of St. Raphael’s Church.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Brannigan of San Rafael; two sons, Garret T. Brannigan of Gardena, Los Angeles County, and Ronald J. Brannigan of San Rafael; two stepsons, the Rev. Dennis Koshko of the Navy and Ronald Koshko of Northborough, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Pamela Juneman of Northridge, Los Angeles County, and Cyndi Koshko of San Rafael; and six grandchildren.
A rosary service is set for 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Raphael’s Church. Friends may call at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo between 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
The family prefers memorial contributions to St. Raphael’s School Scholarship Fund.
