LOIS PEARL HOWELL

Funeral for Lois Pearl Howell of Novato, a resident of Marin for 20 years, will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Novato.

Mrs. Howell died Saturday at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 67.

Mrs. Howell was a California native and lived in Pomona before marrying her husband, Elmer L. Howell, in 1932. Howell, who died in 1973, was business manager of San Quentin Prison for several years.

The couple moved to the county about 1958.

She is survived by a son, David Howell of San Francisco; a daughter, Cecilyh (sic) McEuen of San Diego; and three grandchildren.

Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael. The family prefers memorial contributions to Guide Dogs for the Blind, P.O. Box 1200, San Rafael, or the American Cancer Society, 18 Mary St., San Rafael.
