Marin Resident Dies at 80 Years
Mrs. May L. Weigel, 80, died at the Masonic Home near Hayward on June 21, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held the following Saturday afternoon at Hayward.
A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Weigel came to Marin when she was a young girl, and made her home in San Rafael until the age of 65, when she entered the Masonic Home. Her husband, a Mason for 40 years, was a professor of music and maintained a studio here for many years. He preceded her in death by nearly a decade.
As an active member of Marin musical circles, Mrs. Weigel was well known in this area, and many old friends kept in contact with her during her 15 years at the Masonic Home.
She is survived by an only daughter, Mrs. Elinor Bolin of Berkeley, and two granddaughters, Miss Cecile Bolin, also of Berkeley, and Miss Beth Bolin of Honolulu.
