WILLIAM HOLCOMBE
Tiburon resident
William Holcombe of Tiburon died Sept. 13. He was 83.
Mr. Holcombe was born in Connecticut. He had been a resident of Tiburon since 1952.
He served in the Merchant Maritime Service during World War II and worked as a manufacturer’s representative for Stanley Tools. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Holcombe of Tiburon, and a sister, Louise Osterby of Boston.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Holcombe residence, 448 Greenwood Beach Road, Tiburon.
