PEDER PEDERSEN
Novato resident
Peder Johnny Pedersen, a resident of Novato for 68 years, died Sept. 6 at home. He was 88.
Mr. Pedersen was born in Norway. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He worked in furniture sales for 50 years.
Mr. Pedersen was a member of the Marin County Country Club and played soccer with the Olympic Club for 20 years. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He is survived by two sisters, Ingrid Sorli of Norway and Gerd Pedersen of Germany; a niece, Randi Close of Novato; and his companion, Grace Granlee of Novato.
His ashes will be scattered at sea.
