Aged Resident of Marin County Dead
Tuesday morning marked the close of the life of Maria Petersen, who was 54 years a resident of California and for 46 years of Marin county. She succumbed of general infirmities being 84 years of age at the time of her death. She and her late husband were well known and resided for a great many years in the vicinity of the brick yards.
She was the mother of Dora L. Kappenman, Annie Thomsen, and two girls now dead, Albertine and Hanna J. Petersen.
The funeral services took place from the parlors of F. E. Sawyer and were private. Interment was in Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
