JOSEPH J. LONG
Joseph J. Long of Bel Marin Keys near Novato died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1987, at Marin General Hospital after a long illness. He was 79.
Mr. Long was born in Nebraska and had lived in Bel Marin Keys for 22 years.
He was the owner of L & M Auto Parts in Daly City.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie; three sons, Joseph J. Long Jr. of San Bruno, Donald J. Long of Montara and James B. Long of Guerneville; a daughter, Mary C. McDevitt of Idaho; a sister, Florence Buetter of Santee, San Diego County; a brother, William Long of Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato. Burial will be at Cypress Hill Cemetery in Petaluma.
The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin mortuary in Novato.
