JAMES A. QUINN
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley for James A. Quinn of Mill Valley.
Mr. Quinn, 93, died Sunday at Marin General Hospital after he was injured in a fall at The Redwoods retirement home in Mill Valley.
He was a native of San Francisco and lived in Alameda for 50 years.
Mr. Quinn was a retired treasurer for Southern Pacific Railroad.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Alameda and the American Legion.
Mr. Quinn was a recipient of the Silver Beaver award from Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include a son, Boyd Quinn of Greenbrae; a sister, Bernice Lyma of Santa Rosa; a brother, John B. Quinn of Palm Desert; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
