Pioneer of Washington Dies at Daughter’s Home
Newell Welch Ingersoll, a pioneer of the state of Washington, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harriet Read, Medway Road, San Anselmo, Sunday morning. He was a relative of the Ingersolls of Ingersoll Watch Co., fame.
Ingersoll had been an invalid for some time. The funeral services will be held in Toledo, Washington. The remains are being forwarded by Jenness & McElroy.
