WILLIAM M. NELSON
William M. Nelson, 57, died Monday at Bayside Convalescent Home in Greenbrae after a long illness.
Mr. Nelson was a native of San Francisco.
He worked as a real estate broker in southern Marin before retiring in 1978 because of ill health.
Mr. Nelson was an avid sailor.
Survivors include three sons, Mark Nelson of Marshall, William Nelson III and Michael Nelson of Greenbrae; a daughter, Anita Nelson of San Francisco; his mother, Maude Hall of Aptos in Santa Cruz County; and a sister, Sallie Millang of Aptos.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Marin or a favorite charity.
A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
