Passing of a Pioneer
The death of Mrs. Hannah O’Connor, for fourteen years a resident of Corte Madera, has saddened all who knew her.
Mrs. O’Connor was 82 years of age, but one could scarcely credit her with that many years. With her warm-hearted sympathy and interest in all those with whom she came in contact and in whatever interested them, she surely impressed one as being “82 years young.”
Her circle of friends included as many young people as of those her own age.
She leaves to mourn her passing four daughters, Mrs. M. J. Riley, Mrs. Kate Clishau, Misses Hannah and Tessie O’Connor, and two sons, John and Wm. O’Connor, and these have the sympathy of the entire community.
