MRS. ELMER STEARNS
Mrs. Lillian Stearns, 62, of Mill Valley, died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness. Born in England, she came to the United States when she was one year old. She came to California 32 years ago from Michigan and had lived in Petaluma and Santa Monica until two and a half years ago when she came to Mill Valley.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer A. Stearns of Mill Valley; daughters, Mrs. Eunice Nealey and Mrs. LaVala O’Dell, both of Santa Monica, and Mrs. Nora Lee Stahl of Santa Rosa; sons, M. H. Trezona of Mill Valley, Cecil R. Stearns of Hollywood, Curtis Stearns and Leroy Stearns, both of Van Nuys; sisters, Mrs. Laura Holman, Mrs. Myrtle Barron of Petaluma and Mrs. Edith Sharpleff of Michigan; brothers, Thomas Langdon of Cotati and Russell Langdon of Petaluma; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Parent Funeral chapel in Petaluma. Interment will be at Cypress Hill Memorial cemetery.
