JOHN C. METZLER
John C. Metzler, 65, father of Mrs. Ray Trenchard and Clifford Sasselli of San Rafael, died suddenly of a heart attack in his San Francisco home Thursday morning.
He was a clerk for the Southern Pacific company.
In addition to his son and daughter in San Rafael, he is survived by his wife, Violet; sons Francis Sasselli of Stockton and Victor Sasselli of San Francisco; a brother, George Metzler; and a niece, Mrs. J. L. Paguette.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Harry M. Williams mortuary, San Rafael. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that his brother George and niece were of Leadville, Colorado.
