EDNA TANYA BOYD
Edna Tanya Boyd, a longtime Marin County resident and astrologist in San Anselmo, died Monday at Marin General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 61.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Shropshire County, England, and came to California in 1946. She moved to Marin in the early 1950s.
Since 1968, she had lived in San Anselmo, where she operated an astrology business.
Surviving are a son, John Hana of San Anselmo; two daughters, Sandy Michaelsen of Lopez, Wash., and Karen Pyle of Rohnert Park; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo. Inurnment will be private.
Friends may visit at the mortuary 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The family has asked that memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
