RALPH F. EVANS
Ralph F. Evans of Fresno died Tuesday at Novato Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was 74.
Mr. Evans was a native of Grayville, Ill.
He was a retired professor from California State University in Fresno and a professor emeritus at the campus.
He was a retired member of the First Congregational Church in Fresno, the Fresno Kiwanis Club, the California Retired Employees Association and the National Education Association.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Evans of Fresno; a son, Harold Evans of Los Angeles; a daughter, Kathleen Botko of Novato; two sisters, Marjorie Stahl and Mary Wickling of Illinois; and four grandchildren.
A funeral is being planned for Albion, Ill.
The family prefers contributions to the First Congregational Church of Fresno, 2131 Van Ness Ave., Fresno, Calif. 93704.
