THEA V. ODDSON
A memorial service for Thea V. Oddson of Walnut Creek, 76, a former resident of Marin, will be scheduled at a later date.
Mrs. Oddson died Wednesday at a convalescent hospital in Walnut Creek following a long illness.
She was a native of Cle Elem, Wash. She had lived in Mill Valley from 1958 to 1973 before moving to Concord and then Walnut Creek.
She was married to Egill Oddson, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Carole Lee Smith of Walnut Creek and Corinne Lou Gaffen of Concord; a sister, Nadine Rice of Carlsbad; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Hospice of Contra Costa, 1204 Boulevard Way, Walnut Creek, or the American Cancer Society.
Inurnment will be at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette.
