DAVID JOSEPH ANTONE
A private service and burial for David Joseph Antone was held Wednesday.
Mr. Antone, a longtime Larkspur resident and owner of Antone Motors garage, died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness. He was 68.
Mr. Antone was born in Hawaii and came to California when he was 7 years old. He lived in San Francisco until 1945 when he moved to Larkspur.
He operated the garage from 1957 to 1977, when he retired.
His wife, Pauline, and son, Paul Joseph Antone, preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Judith B. Buchholz of Novato; two sisters, Florence Gulla of Burlingame, and Mary Jones of Millbrae; a brother, William Antone of Santa Clara; and five grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903.
