MUNCIE MONROE BONNER
A memorial service for Muncie Monroe Bonner, a longtime resident of Corte Madera, will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Corte Madera Community Church.
Mr. Bonner, who was 73, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1987 after a short illness.
Mr. Bonner, a native of Calico Rock, Ark., lived in Corte Madera since 1956.
He worked as a mechanic in charge of the motor pool for the Presidio of San Francisco for 29 years.
Mr. Bonner also served in the Army during World War II.
He was an active square dancer who belonged to many square dancing groups in Marin. In addition, Mr. Bonner was an avid gardener, fisherman and hunter.
Mr. Bonner is survived by his wife, Juanita Bonner of Corte Madera; a daughter, Linda Bonner of Corte Madera; and a son, Richard Bonner of Beale Air Force Base in Marysville.
Inurnment will be at Fernwood Cemetery in Mill Valley.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be sent to the Marin Humane Society.
