ALMA RUTH STURGEON
Alma Ruth Sturgeon of Greenbrae died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1987 at the Carewest Bayside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenbrae. She was 87.
A native of Missouri, Mrs. Sturgeon moved to Greenbrae in the 1940s. Growing chrysanthemums was among her hobbies and she belonged to the Chrysanthemum Society. She also was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Rafael.
She is survived by her husband, Hays Sturgeon of Greenbrae; a son, Robert Sterling Sturgeon of Santa Maria; and one grandson.
Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael is handling arrangements.
The family requests that donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 1510 Fifth Ave., San Rafael.
