General H. Blake, 62, Pioneer, Passes
General H. Blake, member of a Marin county pioneer family died last Friday in a local hospital while on his way from San Francisco to visit relatives in Tomales. He was seized at San Anselmo.
General Blake was 62 years of age, and employed by the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. He was born in the Tomales section, where his father, the late Jeremiah Ladd Blake settled during 1852, and purchased a large tract of land, part of which is now known as Blake’s Landing on Tomales Bay.
