DOROTHY C. WEDEN
Dorothy C. Weden, a longtime Marin resident and active church worker, died Thursday at Ross General Hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Weden, 81, was born and reared in Dorchester, Mass., and had lived more than 30 years in Manchester, Conn.
In 1961, she moved to Marin County and had been a resident of San Anselmo.
She was active in the First United Methodist Church of San Rafael. At the church, she served on the administrative board, was chairwoman of the daytime women’s circle and was active in the Mature Adults Club.
Her husband, Elmer A. Weden, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Elmer A. Weden Jr. of San Anselmo, and two grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held.
The family prefers memorial donations to the First United Methodist Church of San Rafael, or the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in San Francisco.

A Death Notice in the June 28th paper adds that arrangements were by Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
