FRANK JEROME STALEY
A memorial service for Frank Jerome “Jerry” Staley of San Anselmo will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Mr. Staley, 78, died Friday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael.
He was born in Enid, Okla., and lived in Washington, D.C., as a child. He moved to California as a young man.
After earning a degree from Golden Gate College in San Francisco, he worked as a ship supervisor for Matson Navigation Co. in San Francisco for 40 years.
He enjoyed swimming, ice skating and skiing.
Mr. Staley is survived by his wife, Ruth Staley of San Anselmo; two daughters, Nicky Burgoyne of Palo Alto and Mary Trimble of Rohnert Park; a son, John Staley of El Cerrito; a brother, Walter G. Staley of Mexico, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private.
