ELAYNE M. GREEVEN
A funeral for Elayne M. Greeven of San Anselmo will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Mrs. Greeven died Sunday at Marin General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 66.
She was born in Pool, Colo., and lived in San Francisco before moving to San Anselmo in 1967.
Mrs. Greeven attended Fresno State University. She was retired after a 20 year career with the state Department of Insurance in San Francisco. She worked much of that time as a switchboard operator.
Mrs. Greeven was an active member of the Sound Off Club of Marin, a group for laryngectomy patients and their families. She was also an avid baseball fan and followed the San Francisco Giants.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Hendrikus M. Greeven of San Anselmo; a daughter, Nancy L. Treisch of San Anselmo; a son, Bill Zuke of Hawaii; a sister, Ruth Estelle Keith of Fresno; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary between 5 and 8 p.m. today.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Sound Off Club, c/o Manual Vance, 133 Lakeside Dr., Corte Madera, 94925.
