Marin Loses Another Pioneer
Michael O’Neil passed away Monday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. John G. Driscoll, 500 D street, where the funeral services will be held today. Mr. O’Neil was one of Marin’s pioneers. Nearly a half century ago he settled in Tomales and engaged in farming. Ill health caused him to seek rest a year or so ago and he came to this city to lived with his sister. He leaves an estate of considerable value.
He was the son of the late John and Mary O’Neil, and the brother of Richard O’Neil, Mrs. Rose Bradley and Mrs. Lizzie Driscoll. He was a native of Australia.
Following the funeral services at the home today, a requiem mass will be said for the repose of his soul at St. Raphael’s church.
